The wooden dummy is a quintessential training tool for practicioners of the southern Chinese kung fu style of Wing Chun, and can also be used by most any martial artist.  It is used to help develop fluidity and speed of movement along with proper distance for strikes, blocks and parries.  Traditionally made of wood (like our WD1 model), modern plastics provide a lightweight and more climate resistant alternative at a more affordable price.
